School Visits:
Beth has visited many schools
in Massachusetts and would love to visit yours as well!
Because Beth was a teacher for over 12 years, she is very comfortable
speaking to groups of all sizes.
- Individual classroom readings/presentations.
- Large group(s) readings or presentations such as “Re-Write
to Get it Right!” where Beth will discuss the process
of getting a book written and published.
- She will present to special Literacy evenings or programs
set up by your school or PTO.
- Beth will also lead classroom writers’ workshops for
children grades 1-5 or help create writers’ workshops
for groups of teachers.
As a former elementary school teacher and a published children's book author, Beth Raisner Glass has a charismatic appeal to children of all ages. She would be a wonderful speaker at your school as a guest author to discuss the inspiration and execution of her own work as well as leading children in their own writing activities.
Beth is also a graduate of Lesley University's MFA in Creative Writing program, where she continues as a guest lecturer. She has been a featured speaker for the Massachusetts Reading Association and Grub Street's Muse and the Marketplace. As part of a panel of writing experts, or leading her own seminars, Beth Raisner Glass brings insight into the world of children's book publishing today.
